Hello, I'm Kellene.

Kelle for short. I’m a strong, versatile writer with Chicago-area roots, Western values, and a healthy obsession with Italian beef sandwiches. I currently live in Cheyenne, Wyoming (the non-mecca of Italian beef) with my husband and kiddo. My work history includes: radio sales and brand building for small businesses, in-house product marketing for a national retailer, agency management, and in-house program marketing for a top, Internationally accredited business school.  

That's a little of who I am. This is how I work:

I'm a full-funnel and full creative-process marketer. I have a wealth of experience in executing all aspects of traditional and digital performance marketing, from concept creation and web content strategy to email marketing automation and marketing analytics. I realize that sounds very lone wolf. My abilities enable me to be a lone wolf when the need arises, and also be a true advocate, consultant, and partner for other creatives and technicians on a team.

 

My background as a web content, ad and email marketing copywriter is also a benefit in the AI age. AI is a productivity-boosting tool like any other, and who doesn't love a boost? I resist slop where quality counts, I know enough to advocate for a properly used em dash, and can debate the merits of serial comma usage. I break rules with vigor, intent, and a little glee.

 

Achieving the desired action – whether that's an emotional connection or a lead submission –  rises above all else. Constantly testing, flexing, innovating and evolving is the real work. If the first impression is backed by a well-connected and consistent marketing ecosystem, that's the sweet spot for building real and measurable success. I will always move mountains to get there.
